In 2024, domestic tourists comprised nearly 64% of Andalucia’s total visitors. Domestic tourists in Andalucia reached 23.1 million visitors in 2024, a 5.5% increase from the previous year. This surge contributed to an economic impact of €30 billion, reflecting a 13.3% rise in tourism revenue.
Foreign tourism – International tourists to Andalusia reached 13.6 million in 2024, surging 13% above the pre-pandemic 2019 levels and 12% higher than 2023. Foreign tourism generated €18.5 billion in Andalucia in 2024 and international visitors spent an average of €166 per day.
Sooo… most of the tourists we are having, which are causing all the ruckus with Airbnbs and short-term rentals woes, are from within Spain itself.
